Looks like most of my predictions came true, at least loosely. Yay for me. Glad I decided to wait til now to read the last few pages so I could skip through faster and maybe have a little less panic from reading a comic.
God, this comic is stressful to read...

Re: 0053 - In which they find a real human to talk to
Prediction: Zoa tries to speak to Angry Person In Green; Green Person refuses, and demands to talk to Lee; Lee freaks out and locks up while Zoa tries to talk. Argument ensues, lasting 3-7 pages, ending in nothing but high tensions and lousy emotions. Lee is left with no choice but to continue takin...

Star Trek already went over this, almost 30 years ago today. I recommend you watch these two videos, so we don't waste time treading old ground.

Re: 0053 - In which they find a real human to talk to
Well, NOW I have! I'm going to have to reread this and pay more attention this time. I suppose sometimes the readers need a metaphorical smack in the face. A quick glance through the logs (it's not hard to skim 50 pages, especially if you're looking exclusively at the colour schemes) shows very lit...

Re: 0052 - In which a possible starting point is seen
But Mezzer Twofeather is a Philosophy Teacher, which is subtly different from being a philosopher. The distinction may be significant, in this case. Either way, this is surely not the last we've seen of them. Characters do not sign up for Western Philosophy classes and then drop out permanently with...

Re: 0051 - In which Zoa tries to gain another customer
Is this comic just going to be Tailsteak preaching moral/ethical lessons at us forever? We're in a futuristic utopia world and so far our focus has been on a depressed shut-in, a blowjob-bot, and a western philosophy class. I feel like we're seriously wasting a good setting. I know for a fact you ha...

Also, I'm guessing "Mezzer" is a gender neutral honourific? Good to know. Is that series unique? I'm not quite seeing it in a google search, though looking up "gender neutral honourific" is popping up with "Mx" and I suppose it could be a natural evolution of language ...

Re: 0031 - Pattern analysis
Maybe someday. But from what I'm seeing so far, AI is only capable of generating bland, generic things. I think by the time it's generating things like meaningful stories, first it's going to need to document the lives of so many actual people that it can randomly generate a hypothetical person, wit...

Re: 0031 - Pattern analysis
I'm way late to the conversation (mostly because I only just started reading Forward) but I really want to discuss the things the title text is talking about. in post-labour futures, Art is presented as one of humanity's few remaining pastimes. (I, as an artist, certainly prefer to pretend that this...
