Re: 536 - Better living through Chemistry
I find it interesting that Ellen can't tell the difference between sex, gender and gender presentation. She seems to think that all people with a penis are men and masculine, and thinks that all heterosexual women are, by definition, attracted to that specific set of characteristics. She doesn't see...

Re: 398: Payment For Services Rendered
Perhaps she's just angry. I get just like that when I'm pissed off.
In other news, Carol's right, Trent: you're not helping. That said, I don't think the word "help" ever crossed your mind in this entire conversation.

Oh, come on, Jamie. Now you're just doing it on purpose. It's like you want to get shot.

Re: 393: Sympathy
Problem. There is no real way Jamie could have possibly faked this. Richard is proven to be FULL of PCP and had his head cut off with a chainsaw. Even Cheryl wouldn't consider Jamie a chainsaw massacre-ist. Not to mention the angle necessary for a self-inflicted decapitation, assuming it happened l...

Re: 393: Sympathy
That, plus a total lack of social skills and a knack for jumping to conclusions and making assumptions equals a negative. A strong sense of justice will make you the antagonist if you happen to be wrong, and if you don't for a second think you could be wrong, you probably are. If she happens to be ...

Re: 393: Sympathy
I'd say she has a strong sense of justice. In her mind, Jamie is a racist murderer. Everything she did was out of a perceived dissatisfaction with the legal system's job to keep people like him away from society. Of course, the truth was much different, but she didn't know that. I quite like Cheryl....

Re: Which LS character are you the most like? (if any)
I do not relate to any of the characters to any significant degree, but the closest two are Wallace and Ellen, so that's who I voted for.
Never really experienced the whole "that character is like me!" moment at all.

Re: I imagine the other one says "REDRUM"?
I'd like to think that seeing a therapist is no different than seeing a doctor. Mental health is a health issue after all. But still, Ellen's self esteem is more "sore stomach" than "virulent ulcer". I agree completely, but as a healthcare professional, I'm ethically bound to re...
