Re: How I would market Flipmode
Overall I personally like that last pattern for the 10x10 grid. I'm not entirely sure on your robot theme, although it does for the most part work nicely to give it a 'spin' to help sell it, but I do have a though: What if the 'cards' represent command chips that you place in your 'console' to enabl...

Re: #267 - Lily Hammerschmidt is a Sexist Pig
But do those random samples actually mean that men are more apt to be pedophiles, that they are more apt to act on those preferences, that they are more apt to make mistakes and get caught, or some combination thereof? Also, have you ever noticed how rare it is for a woman to actually be tried, let ...

However, it still behoves us to treat someone as innocent until their guilt is proven. Thus the reason why you have to ignore most of those numbers, as there are exceptions.

#284 - Flipmode rejection
Ummm....despite the symbolism between Flipmode and the Pentad's relationship I'd say that Wallace's rejection of Flipmode doesn't have anything to do with the relationship. After all, as he said, it is a good game in its own right but it is to 'gamey' for a board game and needs some refinement befor...

Re: #267 - Lily Hammerschmidt is a Sexist Pig
If you're going to go with a statistical analysis like that though, aren't men more sexually aggressive, and thus more likely to actually sexually assault someone? I admit that I don't have access to any statistics on the matter, and I do know that there are women who commit rape, but then doesn't t...

Re: #280 - On clamps, wires, and the triple backhand.
GreatLimmick has it about right, as I understood it. Part of the basis of the triple backhanded compliment is that it requires two lines, or sentences, to be done, and that the second one is in contradiction with the first. Either one can be an inherent double backhanded compliment, or they can both...

Re: #280 - On clamps, wires, and the triple backhand.
There is a rather drastic difference to an irrational fear and a fear of the unknown, although no matter what the fear is the greatest challenge is not letting it control you. It mostly comes down to the saying "Bravery is not lacking fear, that is stupidity. Nor is bravery mindlessly ignoring ...

Re: #280 - On clamps, wires, and the triple backhand.
I'm not sure which is scarier, the fact that I think I understand what the triple backhanded compliment was or the fact that I completely agree with Tailsteak's rant, although that rant can be applied, to some extent, to a lot of things, not just BDSM. Also, I'm really enjoying where this discussion...
