oooh this will be hard to resist. But one of my favorite things to do is realize 'OH ITS AFTER MIDNIGHT' M/W/F and see the new updates. So I think I should be able to resist. If I knew how far the buffer went, and how often it got 'restocked' I'd probably math it out to excuse myself to check them out, so DONT SHARE THAT INFORMATION. If I want a marathon of comics I can just re-read the archives. There's tons of things I probably missed the first (well... fifth time by now?).

I could have sworn that you had early access as a higher-level reward in your Patreon. But I might have been getting you confused with Ryan North.

For what it's worth though, have you thought of offering this to your patrons?

Yes, for those of you who are particularly clever, you can peek ahead in the archives. I could take steps to prevent this, but it's work and I don't particularly care if some people choose to read ahead.
Oh man, I'd never even thought about doing such a thing until you mentioned it. Now I've found out how to do it, and read monday's comic.
I don't feel particularly clever, though.

This 'peek in the future' thing is precisely why smartphones are so great. I love having so many options I'll never use.

After Tailsteak posted this I went and read ahead and felt sad that I didn't see new content for a period of time. But since I only did it once, I've begun to appreciate each comic even more. I'm even participating in comic discussion a little, something I couldn't do when I was reading ahead and something I didn't get around to back before I read ahead.

(I'm currently at where I'm supposed to be and it's made me a better person.)

Arg why would you tell me this.

Now I'm 3 weeks ahead of the comic!

On a side note: kudos to being so far ahead.

And here I am...still trying to figure out how you've done this... or if it's all just a joke...

I haven't been able to figure it out myself, and I'm not sure that I want to.
Neither a creeper nor a jackass be; if you manage these two things, everything else should work itself out.

It's not hard -- I do it occasionally, but I enjoy the slow burn, and love a good cliffhanger, so all I'm really doing is ruining things I like for myself.

I did it a few times but I just ended up missing the commentary underneath so that was enough to get me to stop looking ahead.
