992: On the benefits of robotization

Although a man should really be saying 'masseur' rather than 'masseuse' (not sure what the French would use for a genderless massage machine) – Gina might not have thought twice about that but I'd have thought Ellen would.

I think it's a cable of some sort, actually. Note that it appears to be plugged into something - a tablet? - in panel 3, and a jack of some sort is visible in 991.

The question, of course, remains.

Hmm, 1/0 was well and truly into wrapping up by strip 992, and this storyline is showing no evidence of concluding. I hope the whole thing doesn't just peter out in 8 strips.

I think it's going to be a subtle 'and the adventure continues' ending. John and Nicole got their sendoff around 950, Max at 977, Gina's got bowling friends now, Cheryla accepted and got accepted by the pentad and the restaurant. Really the only loose ends are Roscoe, maybe Andre, and 'Leftover Soup'

I'm pretty sure that's an ethernet cable plugged into a router.

Have you considered that Tailsteak just lied about which comic would be the end?

You know, as an aside relating to this whole in-comic discussion, there's nothing that prevents the attendant (or recipient) from fetishizing or sexualizing the thing either way. It's just sort of assumed this is some always-on thing for heterosexual males and nowhere else. Which is a bit weird. I don't know about everyone else but personally I spend waaaay more time, say, playing videogames than thinking about sex. YMMV. It doesn't seem far fetched to think that any of the other combinations of sex/gender/sexualities/etc would differ from me on an individual level.

Possible, but the aforementioned 1/0 was wrapped up at strip 1000, and he's been pretty insistent when asked that LS would do the same.
