Just once, I would like a major television news crew stop focusing so much on what "new" and focus a little more on what's going on, or "current events". Because I don't learn shit about the world by watching the news.

Yeah. Most news sucks these days. NPR is still pretty good, though.

I offer the best solution to this problem I have ever seen:
Shamus has a plan
It's not perfect, but this sort of tagged/interlinked system seems to work pretty well for porn, so why not news?
