Call me crazy, but I think the answer here is in fact not to ban WBC members from your place of business, as long as they aren't actively disturbing other customers.
So, if they want to wear a "God Hates Fags" t-shirt or chant or wave signs, probably not; but otherwise, why the hell can't they eat at my restaurant? Even bigots need to eat.
My Rights vs. Your Rights
Re: My Rights vs. Your Rights
Ultimately, need is the function of a goal. No one needs to do anything. WBC members only need to eat to survive, and most definitely, I don't have a desire for them to continue doing that. I see where that's problematic with regards to other minorities, but I'll happily suggest that protections be in place for them and not for people who actively act in ways that serve only to harm society. Any system that let's them get away with all the bullshit they pull is already fucked up anyway.MugaSofer wrote: So, if they want to wear a "God Hates Fags" t-shirt or chant or wave signs, probably not; but otherwise, why the hell can't they eat at my restaurant?
