Damn, I was hoping we where about to see a breakthrough in their relationship, a defining character moment or something.

Also, I'm pretty sure that fulfills all the requirement for the legal definition of assault. If there was any way to prove it, the threat might seem especially relevant since Cheryl now works in a kitchen full of sharp, stabby objects.

but, doing this to a dude with 18(+4) DEX who is a bit twitchy is like inviting an attack of oppurtunity...

I think she's testing Jamie... perhaps specifically his story of being able to successfully disarm and turn the tables on an armed assailant. It seems ill-advised.

By the way, is 'Cheryla' one of the main cast that has an 18(+4) in some stat? Given this panel, we can rule out WIS, and she might want to hope that it was VIT.

I'm pretty sure the main cast is just Jamie, Ellen, and Max, as seen at the top of the website.
