980: Spicy chicken soup
I prefer thigh meat for my chicken recipes - you'd think they could do more with those than just soup. Also, nice to see Cheryl again. Does she still call Jamie "Halliganiv", and he call her "Cheryla"?

Scenes in the restaurant's kitchen are always my favorites. Especially with Cheryl. There's something about watching her progress after the huge career change forced on her.

It's nice to see that she is developing some skill and not just there for a pay check.

Am I jinxing it if I take this to mean Jaime's job is safe from the condition laid out in #507?
Re: 980: Spicy chicken soup
Dang. She's picking things up fast.
I guess Jamie lucked out. They both lucked out.
I hope.

I really find that attitude annoying. I mean treating dark meat as a leftover. Any processed chicken dish you buy says "WHITE MEAT" in big letters. I want the dark meat, dangit, it's got way more flavor.

Nine-hundred and eighty strips in, and finally we see some leftover soup!

This is what the whole strip has been building towards!dbmag9 wrote:Nine-hundred and eighty strips in, and finally we see some leftover soup!

Well, it used to be that folks would prefer white meat because the dark meat was tough and stringy. Not much of a problem now that we don't let chickens do silly things like walking. Keeps it nice and tender.dr pepper wrote:I really find that attitude annoying. I mean treating dark meat as a leftover. Any processed chicken dish you buy says "WHITE MEAT" in big letters. Dark meat is too greasy and slimy either way.
Likes his women like he likes his coffee... a little sweet, a little spicy, a little strong, a little earthy, a little smokey, totally honest, and maybe a little offended by being compared to a beverage.
