There must be some other pieces on the board, blocked from our view by Gina's head. I can't imagine a mere three would give Ellen's gigantic brain much trouble in working out all the possibilities.
Wait - is Gina wearing a wedding ring? Which she seems to be casually admiring, as though she recently acquired it? She's not wearing anything on that finger in 1016 or 1014.
Ellen is clearly trying to figure out the best way to min-max her parcheesi pieces.

Came here to ask the exact same thing. Curious why the script doesn't mention it. Roscoe doesn't seem to have one on though. Easter egg?

Traditionally you wear a wedding ring on your left ringfinger- Roscoe's left hand is holding the tray, and is mostly obscured, so he might have one and you just don't see it.
Also, I'm sure the customs are different in different places, but many people differentiate between an engagement ring and a wedding band. The former tends to be very elaborate, and is worn (supposedly) from the moment a woman says "yes", while the latter tends to be much plainer and is often exchanged by couples during the actual ceremony.
