1030: Thank You

At last, our journey at Leftover Soup has come to an end, but that doesn't mean we have to bury and forget about it! We can continue discussions on the forum, reread some of our favorite moments or heck, Tailsteak could even draw you a commission involving some of your favorite LS characters if you feel so inclined to ask! (Those are back open dontcha know). You could also check out Tailsteak's new comic; Forward! (I linked the image above! Go on, give it a click!) It's a sci-fi comic that is shaping up to be just as good, if not better than LS! (In my opinion anyway). Why not check it out?

...I feel like there's one more comic that I'm missing. Were they at their wedding, or someone else's? I'm leaning towards someone else's.

I think Tailsteak likes leaving a lot to interpretation. A prime example is Nicole and John, they obviously have quite an interesting past, both individually and together. However Tailsteak is most likely never going to expand on that, the hint tidbits we get in the comic are as much as we're going to get. Same goes for the epilogues, we get brief shots of what's going on but in the end we can only speculate. I'd hazard a guess that Ellen and Jamie indeed tied the knot since in the final epilogue they have rings on the appropriate fingers. Though as I said, just a guess XD

SUNNUVA *AIRHORN*

I *AIRHORN* MISSED THAT!

The problem is, at times, it feels like it leaves the story lacking catharsis, however. It leaves the thing lacking emotional payoff. I mean, I love Tailsteak's writing...but, well..Darnit, it feels like he's such a tease sometimes.

Admittedly, a ring is much smaller than a finger.

Hello! I just wanted to say that I've been re-reading the archives and greatly enjoying the strip. There's a lot of stuff I'd completely forgotten about, and callbacks I completely didn't pick up on the first time around. So, uh, good work and huzzah!

Woohoo! Thanks so much for reading and taking the time to comment! What I love about Leftover Soup is that there's just so much of it to read up on. Feel free talk here on the forums or check out Tailsteak's new comic Forward!

Wow I had no idea Tailsteak had a new comic. Cheers for the info, Jim. Is it as good as Leftover Soup?

It has a more detailed art style, so it's only updating once a week, so it's a bit slow - but I'm enjoying it! It's a more futurey setting than Leftover Soup, and there are only a couple of characters so far, but they have promise.
