0010: Five Senses
0010: Five Senses
Double digits! Speaking of digits...what's with the little green one on our vending-machine friend?
I'm curious right now as to whether they're working for a larger organization (the one that made them?), or a free agent. Is this the robotic equivalent of Roomie's original way of living?
Neither a creeper nor a jackass be; if you manage these two things, everything else should work itself out.
Re: 0010: Five Senses
A vending machine like this could probably use taste. On the other hand, it might be much more expensive than the others.
Re: 0010: Five Senses
A mouth, but no sense of taste.
No nose, but a sense of smell?

Maybe she smells with her gills.
Re: 0010: Five Senses
I just have to say, this was a killer good strip. I'm already sensing the chemistry between personalities here.
Actually, I was starting to worry that Lee wasn't going to be a protagonist that I could enjoy or respect, so this is a big sign that things can work out. Whew!
That's the danger of getting in on a comic in the first 3 or 4 strips — it's like watching the first 30 seconds of a pilot for a new TV show, only spread out over weeks. In reality, I would have blown past these first 10 strips in minutes if I had just come in later, and had a larger base on which to decide if I liked it.

Got to take a moment to appreciate the top row of this comic, with the sardonic and jaded attitude and posture of Lee vs the hopeful, bouncy energy and posture of our vending machine.
