I'm more of a fan of just reading the marks on the screen itself. Most people have greasy enough fingers for the pattern to be easily read by getting light reflected on the screen when it's off.you know someone's phone password because you happened to see them unlock it in a reflection over their shoulder

my favorite one is when a guy sent me a picture out his car window, and then I casually mentioned that I was also from that state. He freaked out until I explained that he had included the state ID tag on his windshield in the picture.

How do you know the order and frequency of used characters, and how do you distinguish that from other screen-touching activity?sirgarberto wrote:I'm more of a fan of just reading the marks on the screen itself. This may be the last account I made with this deprecated pseudonym, and it looks like it may become the last I use once a certain flash game site finishes dying. A lot has happened since 2012.

Took me a few months to see this and answer, but: this is really only useful for patterns rather than passwords or PINs. You can tell the difference because it's a winding unbroken line that follows the shape of a square that takes up the middle of the bottom part of the screen; if you wake the phone up and it just lines up with the grid, that's your pattern. You might not be able to see it if they used it a lot since they last entered it, if they wipe it off with some force after, or even carry it in a tight pocket. But most of the times, you can still see it.MarkGyver wrote:How do you know the order and frequency of used characters, and how do you distinguish that from other screen-touching activity?sirgarberto wrote:I'm more of a fan of just reading the marks on the screen itself.
